Built for immigration law firms across the U.S.

Immigration law runs on deadlines, documents, and case-status updates. Your platform can handle all of it; out of the box, it usually isn't configured around your workflows. These are configuration problems, fixable in weeks.

What we build for your firm

Nothing gets typed twice

Intake packets, evidence, and forms are classified on arrival, and the fields your team would otherwise type arrive filled in for a paralegal to check. Configured around your case types, not a generic field set.

Intake documents classified and fields extracted automatically

Nobody has to remember

Most firms already know the right steps. The problem is that following them depends on someone remembering. We automate the repetitive parts and build the rest into your platform, so the process runs the same way every time.

Automated workflow steps running consistently

Fewer status calls

Client portals, automated case updates, and multilingual templates your firm writes and approves. We set up or migrate your PM tool and wire the routing — Slack, email, internal tasks — so updates go out on their own.

Your platform, set up for your case mix

Docketwise, CampLegal, Clio, or MyCase configured for the case types you actually take — asylum, family-based, employment-based, removal defense, humanitarian. Workflow triggers, custom fields, and intake pipelines built around your case mix.

A new hire productive in two days

Hands-on training on the workflows your firm actually uses, not a generic feature tour. A new hire follows the same steps from day one, so onboarding takes days instead of weeks.

We know immigration tech because we've helped built Clerq

ClerqLegal is an AI middleware product we built for immigration firms. It automatically pulls USCIS and EOIR/ECAS notices, extracts receipt numbers and deadlines, blocks calendars, and routes tasks to the right paralegal without anyone touching the document manually. It connects to dozens of case-management platforms, including Docketwise, MyCase, Clio, Filevine, and more.

Hear it from our clients

Client Testimonial

As a solo attorney, processing USCIS notices used to eat my day. That's changed. I scan a stack and the system does the rest: extracts information, connects cases, drafts client emails. What used to take hours now takes 5 minutes. Incredible team, top notch technology.

Implementation sprint

We scope the highest-impact workflows and build them. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, fixed price, agreed in writing before we write a line of configuration. Your team gets working automations and hands-on training within the sprint.

Ongoing support

We stay on as your fractional tech team: new workflow requests, troubleshooting, optimization, new-hire training. US business hours. Slack and email. 30-day notice to cancel; no lock-in.

Implementation Sprint

Customizations we deliver in 2-4 weeks.

The work that gets configured into your existing platform (Docketwise, MyCase, Clio, or CampLegal) during a typical implementation sprint. Baseline agreed during the audit; we track what changes after go-live.

Implementation & Customization

What changes BEFORE AFTER
New case intake 30+ min of typing per case AI reads the intake documents and fills the case, in seconds
Client intake forms Clients print, sign and email PDFs back Online intake, and the answers land in the case already structured
Document filing 30+ min manual entry per cas Every document identified, filed to the right case, and tagged for your case types
Ask the file Someone re-reads the whole case before every call Ask the case a question, get the answer with the document it came from
Case task lists Every case type re-planned from scratch AI drafts the task list from the case type and the documents, your team adjusts
Task routing Handed out by hand, tracked in a spreadsheet The next step routes to the right person, with an owner and a due date
Client communication Phone calls and email replies, all day A portal clients check, plus updates in firm-approved templates
Multilingual clients Every update explained by phone Client updates in your client's language, from templates you approve
Case types & fields Generic defaults nobody uses Built around your case mix, and the AI taught your document types
Workload visibility You find out someone's overloaded when a case slips Every case, task and bottleneck in one live view
Platform migration A move that risks losing documents and deadlines Fields and documents mapped across, verified before cutover
Staff onboarding 2-4 weeks of shadowing 2 days against documented workflows

Each implementation is customized to your firm's case mix, intake flow, and platform configuration. Individual results depend on baseline state, case volume, and which workflows we prioritize. We confirm feasibility during the audit.

Frequently asked questions.

Straight answers about what we do, how long it takes, and what it costs.

What does AlphaVenture do for immigration law firms?

We're the implementation team for 1-25 attorney US immigration firms running on Docketwise, MyCase, Clio, or CampLegal. We configure the platform, build AI workflows around USCIS / EOIR / ECAS notice handling, set up project management and client communications, and stay on as a fractional tech team. Pricing starts at $2,500/mo with a 30-day cancellation; small firms (1-5 attorneys) can engage sprint-only.

Who configures Docketwise for small immigration firms?

AlphaVenture. We built ClerqLegal, the immigration AI that sits on top of Docketwise, so we know the platform's hooks and limits cold. We configure Docketwise for case management, form automation, deadline tracking, and client portals. Typical implementation runs 2-4 weeks.

How long does a Clio or MyCase implementation take for an immigration practice?

2-4 weeks for the implementation sprint. Most firms see their first automations live within the first two weeks; full sprint deliverables land by week four. Retainer clients see continuous improvement month over month.

What does it cost to configure our case-management platform for immigration?

The audit is free. The sprint is fixed-priced and scoped during the audit. Ongoing support starts at $2,500/mo, scoped to firm size and case volume. Solo and small practices (1-5 attorneys) typically engage sprint-only or project-by-project.

We already have someone managing our case-management platform. Why would we need you?

Your admin keeps the lights on. We build the automation layer. If your team is still manually entering USCIS notice data, copying deadlines into calendars, or fielding client status calls, there's a workflow tier your admin hasn't had the time or specialized immigration-tech knowledge to build. We build it, document it, and maintain it, then train your admin to run alongside us.

Do we have to switch case management systems?

No. Most firms already have a core platform; our first goal is to make your current stack work better. If a migration is truly necessary, we'll say so. But we don't start by assuming you need to rip out what you already use.

What if it doesn't work for our firm?

The audit is free, so you see exactly what we'd build before committing budget. The sprint has fixed, agreed scope. If our work doesn't meet the agreed specification, we fix it at no additional cost during the sprint. Retainer clients can cancel with 30 days' notice, no penalty.

Is our firm the right size for this?

We work with 1-25 attorney immigration firms as our primary fit. Solo and small practices (1-5) typically engage us sprint-only or project-by-project rather than on monthly retainer. Mid-size firms (5-25) are the sweet spot for the full audit → sprint → retainer model. From 25-50, we scale the engagement to a full dedicated team.
